Western Montana Vegetarian Society hosts a series of once a month, plant-based potlucks, called "2nd Saturday", potlucks for the public. The potlucks began in 2009 and are in the 2nd year of existence to meet the need of having a plant-based food organization for the area. This a permanent project of the sanctuary to host the monthly potlucks. All are welcome no matter what your eating styles are! There are eleven (11) potlucks each year. One exception: July is a time-off, vacation month, no "2nd Saturday" potluck occurs in July.
Please bring a plant-based dish/entree to share, preference is vegan. We do however welcome vegetarian entrees. Beverages are provided. Should you prefer, in lieu of bringing an entree to share, a minimum donation of $4.00 will provide you with a wonderful lunch and interesting conversation with others attending the potluck.
Where: 102 McLeod Ave/ corner of Higgins Ave., Missoula,MT.

This University District location, is a central location for the area. No matter where you reside, you are welcome here.
We thank and appreciate UU Fellowship of Missoula, for making their facility available for the potlucks. There is a kitchen to warm up pre-made food. There is a large dining room for all to comfortably be seated
.
We are seeking speakers who in exchange for a nice lunch, who can give a short talk, related to veg and environmental topics. Other topics? Let's talk about it. During 2009, Jon Camp from Vegan Outreach gave a slide show and talk. Also, if you play a musical instrument, we'd love to have you join us to provide some music and enjoy a plant-based meal as our thank you. For now, we read short articles, poetry, etc., related to mission of veg society.
